About Precision Campus - The Story Behind the Software
Every institution has the need for effective data analytics and reporting, but not every school has the means to do so properly. Too many software platforms are cost-ineffective, industry neutral or both, which makes implementing and using those tools successfully an ongoing challenge.
Precision Campus was founded to help colleges and universities better manage, analyze and understand their data. We focus exclusively on solutions for higher education. Whether you have a robust data analytics infrastructure or none, you can find a cost-friendly solution for creating dashboards to inform decision-making.
Our experience and sole focus on higher education gives us the unique ability to combine technical and creative skill sets in a platform that is both intelligent and easy to understand. No matter your institution’s size and needs, we can tailor a data analytics solution that will help you achieve your goals.
Our mission is to make life easier for the higher education industry.
We know that data analytics can be a complicated, time-consuming process. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to create an easy-to-use, automated reporting platform that understands the variables, requirements and goals of higher education.
Meet the Creator of Precision Campus: Eric Spear
Our Founder and President Eric Spear has been right where you are: in charge of an unfathomable amount of data and responsible for creating countless end user reports.
Having worked as a Senior Developer for the University of Maryland for over 18 years, Eric has first-hand experience in the day-to-day challenges that higher education faces when it comes to their data. Institutions often have limited resources, employees who are stretched too thin, a reliance on manual processes and time-consuming, sometimes antiquated practices in place.
With the dawn of cloud computing, Eric recognized the opportunity to combine his expertise with the latest technology to support the modern-day campus’ needs and solve many of their previously unsolvable challenges.
